MERS Setup Instructions
Important

Before you submit information to MERS, you must complete the following steps to set up First American CoreLogic as a MERS vendor.

Setp 1 - Log On
Log on to the MERS website using your MERS system administrator credentials.
Step 2 - Find a User with Access
  1. In the left panel, click Administration, click Security, and then click List of Users by Role.
  2. Click each Role Name until you find one with the Membership Information check box selected.
  3. To locate a user assigned to that role, click List of Users by Role.
  4. After you locate a user, ask your system administrator for the user's logon credentials.
  5. Click Log off and then log on to MERS with the user's credentials.

Step 3 - Go to the Vendor Page
In the left panel, click Administration, click Member Information, click Relationships, and then click the Vendor link at the bottom of the page.
Step 4 - Add First American CoreLogic and First American CoreLogic (CA) as a Vendor
In one of the vendor fields, type 1007427 (First American CoreLogic's MERS Org ID number) and 1009847 (First American CoreLogic (CA)'s MERS Org ID number), and then click Submit.
